Where are you Located?

Memphis Rottweiler Rescue is a foster based rescue group in Memphis, TN. We do not have a physical location (shelter) where people can visit, nor do we house all of our dogs at one location. Instead, all of our dogs are located in foster homes throughout the Mid-South (West TN, North MS, & Eastern AR).  

How do I meet a dog I like?

To meet a dog you are interested in adopting, please submit an adoption application. Memphis Rottweiler Rescue requires an approved adoption application before we can schedule a time and place for you to meet with one of our adoptable dogs.

Memphis Rottweiler Rescue is a foster based rescue group. Therefore, we do not have a physical location (shelter) where people can visit, nor do we house all of our dogs at one location. Instead, all of our dogs are located in foster homes throughout the Memphis and Mid-South area.

Since we do not have a physical location (shelter) that is open to the public where you may visit with our dogs, we do require all potential adopters to submit an adoption questionnaire first. Once an applicant is approved, we can then schedule a time for the applicant to meet the dog(s) they are interested in adopting.

By requiring an approved application before scheduling a time to meet, it allows us to work more efficiently and help more dogs in a timely manner. If we did not require an approved application first, it would simply be impossible for us to accommodate the large number of requests to meet our adoptable dogs.

Why don’t you list a Telephone number online?

Memphis Rottweiler Rescue (MRR) does not have a publicly listed phone number. Our preferred method of contact is email or Facebook messenger. Here’s why - The phone number associated with MRR is my personal phone number, which is also used for my real job. I deal with a very large volume of calls on a daily basis for my real job. It would be near impossible for me to keep up with the additional calls that would come in if my number were listed publicly. For this reason, the phone number associated with Memphis Rottweiler Rescue is only given out on a "need to know" basis.
